Power Boost|Expanding Your Coaching Business with Passion + Purpose

For me, it doesn't really feel like a business vehicle, it more feels like a way of living.

We are moms, we are bosses, and we're living abroad.

And in this brand new season of this exciting podcast, we are boosting the woman to woman connection through deep, intimate conversations to pause, reflect and go beyond the skin deep.

And we are here to celebrate your unique journey.

No matter how old your business or your babies, or where you are in the world, you are not alone.

It's time to go deeper, understand better, and lean into more harmony and fun along the way.

We are Desiree and Iva, and this is Mom Bosses Abroad.

Hi, and welcome to a new episode of the Mom Bosses Abroad Podcast.

In this episode today, we are joined by an inspiring mom boss, Marielle Waller, who is strategically breaking from her corporate job as we speak to fully embrace her passion for coaching while building legacy wealth through her Enagic business.

And she is sharing how she is seamlessly integrating all three to turn her dreams into reality.

So welcome, Marielle.

We're so excited to have you here today.

Thank you.

Thank you for having me.

And I'm also very excited to be.

And I'm personally so, so happy because I have known Marielle for a long time.

We actually worked together more than 20 years ago in Frankfurt in a hotel.

And it was my first real job out of university.

So that was definitely a very important time of my life.

But I would love to just introduce Marielle officially because she is a systematic coach, a project manager and a mom of two.

She always wanted to be independent and to have an income impact.

The days were never long enough for all the tasks that she had on her list.

And during her personal growth journey, she cared more and more about herself.

And really wanted to reduce the speed of life.

And a few months ago, she started this business model.

And it just felt so right to her.

Because the values combined with her coaching vision totally aligned for her.

And it sounds so inspiring already.

So we would love to really dive into a little bit of your back story, because you are still in a traditional job, right?

And first of all, what motivated you to get into coaching in the first place?

Does it have to do with your current job?

Is it something completely different?

Or how did you get that second sort of passion inside your life?

That's a good question.

And it really has a lot to do with my job, because I'm a project manager in the career sector.

I'm helping people finding new jobs, getting ready for next position, the next management level, or also working for assessing people into leadership roles.

So and it became more and more important since I'm working with a lot of freelance coaches to go deeper in that topic and that's why I had the demand to become a coach as well.

And also, I was always trying to help others that they look for themselves.

But sometimes, I forgot about myself, looking after myself and after my needs that I have.

And that was like, yeah, a little hit to myself, to say, okay, let's become a coach, and yeah, look at your own topics and your own issues and things you have to work on.

And yeah, it was a great transformation going through that year of becoming a systemic coach.

And it was a great journey, really.

That's amazing.

Oh my God, and I can so relate with the not taking care of yourself, not nourishing your needs, right?

Because as a family as well, you do always put the kids first, your husband first, the work first, and then you often come last.

And that is just not sustainable.

But can you explain to us a little bit as well?

What is a systematic coach?

And what do you do in your coaching practice?

In the coaching practice, working at a systemic coach, you always look at the whole system.

If you're pulling like on one side, everything starts to move.

And after I became a coach, sometimes my husband was asked, oh, Marielle is now a coach, did she change a lot?

And he was always laughing.

He said, well, she changed, but all of us changed because the whole environment, the whole system is changing.

So in whatever environment you're working or living or wherever the issue or the thing that you like to work on is, we are looking at the whole system.

So if you come and have a coaching session with me, we always look at, okay, what's the relation to your parents?

What's the relation to your brother or sister?

How's the relation to your husband?

Who do you work with?

All that.

And then from there, from the outside, we go to the inside, and there we find a solution and see and you get the answer yourself, what you can do to easily go through that topic you have.

And I love, Marielle, how you phrase that in a way that it's almost like, your husband is saying, okay, we have all undergone a transformation without even knowing, based on those steps that you are taking yourself, but it has been of benefit for everyone.

So it's a bit going in line with that phrase that says, a high tide lifts all boats.

So if the tide is a high tide, it's a good tide of we, as women, being the ones taking a little bit the baton and saying, I want to change for the better, or I want to push myself in a different direction that lights me up, or I have been neglecting myself for a little bit over here, and it's time to reclaim my own passion, or to reclaim my own time and space for my dreams, then everybody benefits.

Everyone in the family benefits.

And I think Des and I, this is the reason why we do the things that we do, but we have also created this podcast as a movement, because at the end of the day, it's highlighting that message that the lion's share of the caregiving and the raising of children falls on us women.

And if we are not okay, then the family is not going to be okay.

And this is so important.

Yes.

And this is so important.

Because if you're going through a transformation and the rest of the family is not, because you're not like letting them take them part of it, you're at the end, you're going to be on your own.

You know, you have to let them participate.

And I mean, it works automatically, usually because you're talking about what experiences you have and what you learn and what you're doing.

And yeah, you let them be part of your daily journey.

And you're around your kids all day, at least in the afternoon and in the evenings, but and also the same with my husband.

So they participated a lot in that and supported me.

And that's why they transformed as well.

And I can only recommend moms who were willing to do things like that and to really integrate that into the family life and not taking stepping outside and say, okay, that's my time, I'm doing my thing, I'm not talking about it, because it can break away.

So I think it was really a great idea, a great opportunity to have that together.

Hey, mama, if you've been looking for a way to make an impact in health, create long-term wealth for your family and design a freedom lifestyle, all while being part of an amazing supportive community, then listen up.

We found a business model that's not just about making money, but about doing soulful work that's truly aligned with who you are.

No more burnout, no more trading time for money, just a powerful proven way to create real change for yourself and others.

If this speaks to you, head over to mombossesabroad.com and watch a quick 30-minute video that could completely shift your perspective on what's possible for your future.

Because, mama, you deserve freedom, abundance and purpose.

Let's create it together.

And it was your husband, as well, who is supporting you, which is a big part of the equation, right?

We cannot do it just, as you say, on a silo, like on a cave by yourselves.

We have to have that support from our partners to understand that this is a process, that there will be a little bit of shifts going around.

And if you don't have a supportive partner along the way, it can feel to them as well like unsettling.

Right.

And he had doubts at the beginning as well.

He said, well, do it.

It's really what you want to do.

But he had doubts in between as well.

He's like, okay.

Hopefully, he's going to.

Okay.

But then he saw the results.

And then he's like, okay, I think it's really going a good way.

And it's where in the relation, it's much more mindfulness.

And it's less stress with the kids.

It's just much more happiness and caring in our family life.

So you've been able to create true harmony as well through this and through applying what you do in your own home.

And that is really, I think, also the definition of such a passion business, just the way you speak about it, the way you approach it, and you want to help other women feel that same transformation that you're feeling in your own family.

But I also know that from previous conversations that we've had, you were always a little bit concerned about, okay, I think I found something I truly love.

I'm really passionate about it.

I want to do this.

I want to do nothing else.

I like, in fact, I kind of don't want to work anymore in my traditional job.

I would love to just be able to do this full time.

But share with us some of the concerns that come with these decisions that you're making, you're about to make or that are just involved in having a pivot like this in your career.

Yeah, I really like the topics of the job I have.

But sometimes I have the feeling I'm growing out of it and I'm doing it many years.

And I think it's about time to change and to move on.

And I only have limited time during the day, because my day is only 24 hours as usual.

And so I don't have much time for coaching sessions.

I always need to sneak them somewhere in between.

And that's what I really don't want to do in the future, because I want to follow my passion and I love coaching.

And I can feel the impact that it has.

And we cannot have enough great coaches, because the demand is growing.

And I think everyone should have a coach.

And then I need to, yeah, to see, okay, which way do I want to go?

And my way is the coaching way.

But then, on the other hand, I want to have a fixed or, yeah, a good income to have financial freedom.

I don't want to do coaching with a financial pressure in my back, which brought me to a conversation with you, and it was just like becoming a coach.

It was just one conversation.

I was like, okay, decided I'm going to do it.

That's it.

So, and this, starting with Enagic, and yeah, starting this great business vehicle was like the same as the experience with signing up for the coaching.

We had the conversation.

I had more or less no questions.

I was like, okay, this is what I wanna do.

And that really resonates with the coaching values that I have, which is really health, wealth, and also going your own way, living your life, being responsible for your life, self-confidence, and really to be able to stand on your own feet, not being the person that needs to go after one person and say, okay, but he said, I need to do this.

Exactly.

Yeah, be self-confident and self-organized as well.

So that's where I am, actually.

And for me, it doesn't really feel like a business vehicle.

It more feels like a way of living.

Because I think we, as a family, we already live it.

We benefit from the products and just the mindset and the whole motivation, the community.

It's so much happiness in there, and it's just great to have it.

Yeah, oh, I get goosebumps just listening to you, I love it.

Yes, and it seems from what you're sharing, Marielle, is that Enagic came about because it's perfectly complementing the coaching direction that you are slowly going towards, besides keeping the corporate job, because it will come to supplant your current nine to five, so to speak, right?

And it's also one of those things where, as a mother, you have two kids yourself, you only have so many hours in the day, you said as well, right?

So it's like this three different spinning plates, so to speak, that are going on right now for you.

And I think one of the biggest questions that I have when I listen to you, and also to get other moms inspired, is can you share a little bit what have been those challenges of having those three spinning plates going on at the moment?

And what is your mindset around that?

What allows you to take this third project on board, knowing that it's going to take off, knowing that it's going to be that bridge, that it's going to take you from A to B.

But in the in-between, there's life.

In the in-between, there's still so many hours during the day.

In the in-between, life is life.

Kids get sick or whatever.

So can you share with us a little bit what that looks like for you at the moment and how do you navigate it as a coach, right?

Like what does the coach tell herself in those moments?

You know, life has so much to offer and you never know what happens.

So I'm really, I want to enjoy life and I want to enjoy time with my kids.

I'd love to have more time because of the three jobs.

From day to day, I'm struggling a bit here and there.

But the third job, the business vehicle within Ejik, it forces me to step back because you have to do your inner work.

You're not successful if you're showing pressure, if you're in a rush, if you're stressed.

You really need to focus on yourself.

And that's why I really don't take it too serious and too hard because I know I have limited time and it will come, it will be going big.

And I have, I don't know if you know that from the coaching perspective, where energy flows, attention, where attention goes, energy flows, it really is like, okay, I'm putting in my energy there and it will get back, it will come back to me, it will get successfully.

And that's why I don't put that much pressure in there, but more time, I spend more time for my inner work and really manifesting things, trying to really put my effort and my energy together to really know what you want to do and how you go forward.

And that's more or less something from me and myself personally.

So that's why it's a great addition.

Yeah.

I love it.

And I think the biggest takeaway that I have from everything you've said just now is the fact that it doesn't even seem like a business vehicle to you, right?

It's really, there is so much more that comes with this.

I mean, when we first introduced this business vehicle to others, it may seem like at first, like it should be something really rigid.

I mean, it's a business model.

This is how it works.

It has a compensation plan.

There's products involved and everything.

However, we all, everyone who steps into the space soon realizes there is so much more in there than that product, than that water ionizer, than that health aspect, than that compensation plan.

There is so much work.

And I think that is the biggest learning I've myself had in my whole journey with Enagic now as well.

And the community, right, is just you're so supported.

And every call that we have, we're all messaging each other, oh my God, it was so amazing.

I feel so inspired.

It's just so good.

And the point is really like what you said, it allows you to step back because you need to do that inner work.

And it's only with that inner work that you're able to really allow that energy to flow to places, and people feel that.

And that's why people are attracted to you.

That's why people will ask you questions about it.

And people will start that conversation.

It's usually not you that starts the conversation, but it's others that start that for you.

And that it doesn't even seem like a business vehicle as such.

It's a beautiful model, but what we get to do in the space is often so magical.

And I know Iva explains the word magic.

It's not a fairy like word in there, but she explains like the word magic in these terms really, really well.

Oh my God, you're speaking my love language.

But you're right.

I mean, the calibration of the word magic and something that feels magical and something that feels like it's too good to be true, right?

First of all, that good to be true, it's conditioning because we've been conditioned to treat everything or anything that has that calibration with a little bit of suspicion, right?

Based on experiences either from our own selves or from loved ones that have ingrained that in us.

However, it is this whole sense of going back into a joyful state, like Marielle is saying, right?

And this is something that has naturally been part of all of us.

The moment that we are children, we step into those magical places to play, to pretend, and to really connect with our hearts, and everything seems possible.

Because in a way, it is.

We intuitively know that the realm of infinite potential is real.

It's the quantum field, right?

It's the matrix, so to speak.

And then through unconscious parenting, or dynamics, or relationships, or things that might happen, we gather evidence along the way of the country, which is very unfortunate.

Because part, I believe, of what the education system should integrate is that, right?

It's how to get back to the basics.

And what Marielle is sharing is just, it's incredible in that sense, because it's true.

It's going back to basics.

And the basics are, if you are coming at things from this ignited heart, from this pure state of joyful innocence, where we are just doing something that resonates with us, that it's aligned with our values, that it's something that we truly believe is in benefit of so many others, then there's no way that we can lose, so to speak.

There's no way that we cannot magnetize ourselves and bring people on board like you, Des, that you were saying, right?

People pick up that energy.

So it's fantastic that we are stepping into this conversation highlighting that from the 3D aspect, the physical realm, whenever somebody would hear Marielle say, okay, she has a corporate job, and she's doing coaching on the side, and she's deciding to do this business vehicle as well.

She's nuts.

Like this lady is in line for burnout.

Like in six months, she's going to be collapsed on the floor, right?

Like that's what we all tend to think, because we come from this place of effort.

But Marielle, it was so fantastic that she shared with us that it isn't, because that is precisely not what you're doing.

What you're doing is stepping into a place of power and empowerment, which is that inner realm.

Yeah.

And that's it gives you a lot of empowerment.

I mean, I'm just I just had some hard times because of family loss.

And it gave me so much energy.

I was like, OK, now I have this and I have three jobs.

But the Enagic community, they gave so much energy, motivation and belief.

And also, it's also funny having teenage kids and starting something new and starting an online business as more or less being seen as an old mom.

It is also funny because they see what's peaceable, they see what other jobs are okay, and how you can earn money, how you can travel the world, how you can be responsible for yourself, and just go going your own way, and taking care of yourself.

And my daughter just asked, when can I step in?

When can I step in?

I was like, yeah, see, you finish school and once you're ready, you can join the business.

And that's also, I want to be an example for the kids as well, to also look at other options.

That's incredible that she already has that curiosity in her.

Look at what you're doing.

I know, I know.

Oh my God.

Amazing what you already inspire her to do and to show her what's possible.

And that's already what we so wish for in motherhood, is to play that role, to be that role model for your children.

They're watching you closely.

And that is so beautiful.

So as a systemic coach, you said you do look at the whole, everything on its own.

And I really, really admire that you saw from yourself that there's also something missing for you, right?

There's a little piece missing.

And that as, as I'm hearing you speak, I think you have filled that piece.

And so when you go into coaching sessions, then with your clients, with the beautiful women that you work with, how do you, like, how do you plan or plan to combine these things together or even open up that conversation to be like, you know what, maybe these two don't have to be separate after all.

Maybe this is yet an empowering tool to pass on to exactly the women I'm speaking.

Like, what are your plans around that?

Well, it really depends on the topic and the situation they are living in.

So, I mean, I would recommend to any coach, any person that is doing something in the wellness and health sector to have a second lack of income because you never know what happens and also thinking about retirement.

I want to be on the safe side.

I don't want to be stuck somewhere because I cannot afford it anymore.

And also going with that vision into cooching, it opens doors because sometimes you have women who are not able to leave their husband because they cannot afford living with their kids on their own.

Maybe it's a good opportunity to start an online business and think about other options.

Sometimes, I don't know, there are many, many different options.

Sometimes they just want to find passion for themselves.

They just want to be seen as somebody.

They just want to have their own thing.

Kids are growing, they moved out of home, and now they're on their own, not knowing how to fill the whole day.

So they need to find another passion, another task, what they can do.

So yes, bringing solutions or offering solutions.

I mean, in the coaching sessions, I mean, you don't bring solutions, they come up with their ideas.

But you can certainly bring in some options, maybe you want to do that, if you want to have something for yourself, if you're looking for a job where you would be flexible, where you don't have time against money, where you can be flexible in time and location, then I certainly offer ENERGYC, because I think it's the best vehicle you can ever choose.

The best part is that it aligns so perfectly already with the health and wellness space that you are already in, right?

Through the coaching, like this is part of your values, this is part of your mission and your purpose, and what you would be offering, as you say, as part of a solution for them, down the line or at whatever point you consider it to be relevant for the journey that they're in to step into it, is because it's something that from the get-go, it already provides so much wellness to them and their family.

So already the change is there, or already the impact is there.

And I think that for all of us who are here today, Des, Marielle, and myself, we are truly in a business that motivates us to bring wellness, to bring inspiration, to bring that sense of there's possibilities and there's choice for you available, and that's true freedom.

The ability to say, you know, I don't have to stay here if I don't want to.

I can have more doors open for me that I can consider.

So, yeah, so I think that is a very, very powerful thing, and you cannot even dimension what other things come.

Like in your case, you said specifically, I have my daughter already, you know, anticipating her turn to be able to step herself into this and doing it her way and bringing her own spin to this business vehicle.

I mean, how do you put a value on that, right?

Like how much is it worth for a parent to have a child already so motivated to pursue something on their own, so motivated to step into such an empowered stage at such an early stage in life, right?

Like there's no money that you can put on something like that.

So this goes beyond the money aspect when you translate it into all these other benefits.

Like I also work with children, and that intrinsic motivation, you cannot buy it in a store.

There is no store in earth where you can go and buy motivation for your child.

Like you can create the environment for them, but you cannot buy it and put it on them like a new shirt.

So these are the things that sometimes need to be highlighted even more and more through these conversations, because truly it is something that we as parents are having to be prepared to for the next stages of their development, which is what do you want to do?

How do you want to change the world?

How do you want to take up space in here and create value for others?

Yeah, I think that's the unconscious mind that she wants to feel the same as I do.

She just wants to have the emotion.

She feels the happiness and everything.

So and it also, it gives you just such a good feeling that you know you're doing the best for your family.

They drink the water.

You keep yourself and your family as healthy as possible.

Which is just such a big value.

Which means you've already won, haven't you?

You've already won by even stepping into this business, just to be able to provide your family with better health.

Yeah.

And the goal is really to attract others.

I don't want to sell them machines.

Just want to attract them and wake them up.

They follow as well.

Exactly.

The journey as well.

Exactly.

Well, I feel I already consider myself a winner in here because I have, you know, you, you all, we are in one team together.

And it's just the fact that, you know, we've known each other for over 20 years and we've, we've kept in touch, but now we're, we're really business partners in life, but it's not even in like such a business sense.

It's just, we get to do this together.

And I think being on this journey and being reconnected now is just so beautiful.

I already consider myself so like rich from that, you know, and then, yeah, just being able to sit here and to talk about this, I think this vehicle really does give a true, true, true health, right?

In all different aspects.

So if you are really curious about what this business vehicle is that we are talking about, do go in the show notes, click that link, and Iva and I are going to walk you through in a 30-minute, very powerful webinar to show you what it is, what's possible on the other side.

And really, you can only win because from the moment you step in, you're already opening so many doors.

So thank you so much, Marielle, for really talking us through your journey and what's been possible ever since you joined.

And it's just been like a dream for me to have you here as our guest.

Thank you so much.
