Basics to Thrive | Elevate your Hydration with The 'Right' Type of Water

Let's get started.

We need to drink water because we are essentially water, right?

Every system, every function of the human body relies on it, and the human body is actually 70 to 75% water.

We need it to survive, and we can survive three weeks without actually eating anything, but we can survive more than three days without drinking water.

We are moms, we are bosses, and we're living abroad.

And in this brand new season of this exciting podcast, we are boosting the woman-to-woman connection through deep intimate conversations to pause, reflect, and go beyond the scheme deep.

And we are here to celebrate your unique journey.

No matter how old your business or your babies, or where you are in the world, you are not alone.

It's time to go deeper, understand better, and lean into more harmony and fun along the way.

We are Desiree and Iva, and this is Mom Bosses Abroad.

I am Iva Perez, and I am here with my beautiful business bestie and podcast co-host, Desiree Gonzalez.

Hi, Des, welcome.

I'm so excited that we're here today, as always, because we have always shared that being in the studio is our happy place.

But also today, it's like the spotlight is going to be on you.

I'm going to put you on the spotlight, because there's a topic that is so important and that begins to tie up everything of the previous conversations that we've had in the podcast about what do we physically need to thrive as moms, as mompreneurs, while we're building a business, while we're moving from place to place, while we're living abroad, and so many other things.

How are we really ensuring that we are being the best version of ourselves, while wearing all the hats and doing all the things?

And sometimes it's very easy to overlook the basics, right?

And they might sound a little bit cliched to some extent.

It's like it always goes back to those same old building blocks.

But I think that in this episode, we want to explore, and this is why I am so excited that we're going to be talking about this, because I want to explore something that it's so simple, that it's so easy to overlook at the same time, which is the act of drinking enough water and staying hydrated.

Yes, I really like in my line of work as well, being a clinical rheumatherapist and being super passionate about the natural lifestyle, you know, I dive so deep into like holistic care, making better choices, you know, doing things in a natural way, ditching the toxins in your home.

But then I was like, but wait a second, I haven't actually looked at something that is so basic.

I mean, because when I do consultations with my clients, I really, really do involve nutrition in it as well, because it's a 360 view that we need to have, right, about what can we do better?

It's not just about using essential oils or supplements.

It's really how you live, what's your lifestyle and going into all of that.

And nutrition is a huge part of it.

But also me, what I have never really looked at is, wow, the water, the type of water, the quality of water and the amount of water that we drink is actually such a huge part of it.

So I'm really, really excited to also like dive into this and explore this as we're having this conversation.

And I want to set the stage for this because this is one step further than just, oh, make sure that you're drinking enough water.

Here's the thing.

We, as women, we have such unique physiological needs.

We have very unique hydration needs as well, because we have so many factors to look into within the stage of life or the season of life that we're in.

There are hormonal fluctuations, there's menstruation, there's pregnancy, there's breastfeeding, right?

Even the hormonal changes during the menstrual cycle, which we have covered a little bit in previous episodes, right?

So those, all of those can really affect the fluid balance and increase the risk of dehydration for us.

But also, beyond that, I just want to say that the whole story of how this episode came about was a few months ago when me and my family were visiting you in Japan.

And it was such a great trip.

It's always amazing to see you.

And I'm putting it out there, you are the best host ever.

So once again, thank you for receiving us in your home and really making us feel so welcome.

We loved having you here.

Yes.

And as you know, whenever adults get together, or specifically whenever moms get together, the hanging out place tends to be the kitchen, right?

That's where we cook.

That's where we do the dishes.

That's where we're always preparing a snack, a meal, and even packing snacks and stuff for a trip or whatever it is that we're going to do for the day.

So when I was visiting you, I discovered and you shared with me as well, this machine that you have that dispenses a very unique type of water.

And for me, what I want to say is that flying overseas, it's a long flight with two kids.

You are trying to adapt to the new surroundings.

Sometimes not everybody gets the same quality of sleep that you get at home, right?

Because it's not your environment and so forth.

And children are all excited about discovering.

So they hardly get any sleep as well.

And you're just trying to be there and make the magic happen.

And I noticed that despite the lack of sleep, despite the fact that, or the less amount of sleep, it's not that I was not having sleep, but the less amount of sleep, because we were also staying up late, catching up with each other and so forth.

I noticed that the water that you were sharing with me, that I was drinking, was just different from the one I had back home.

And it was very subtle, but I started to notice that things that would normally affect me a lot when I travel, that was not the case while I was there.

And I'm like, there must be something in the water.

You know that saying, there must be something in the water.

You've never shared that with me.

That is so nice to know.

Yeah, so then I guess we got a little bit into talking about, what is this all about?

This water that you were sharing with me and that it was really having this wonderful effect that I was able to notice.

Mm-hmm.

Oh my God, I'm gonna ask you about some of these effects in a little bit more detail after as well because I'm super curious.

And yeah, like for you in that short time that you guys were here, like I've been on that journey also to like tune into my body and to see.

And for me, one of the big measurements as well as my husband who doesn't really say things outright or like, you know, he really needs to feel something before he'll comment on it or approve it or something, right?

I can't force like a statement out of his mouth.

It needs to come when he's ready.

And he has also felt the difference just in the way he feels, but let me just, like why, I become so passionate about because of this now, I love hearing your story.

And I was so fascinated with this kind of light bulb moment I had was like, wait a second, I need to get back to basics here because we all need to drink water.

I mean, yes, you can choose like to use essential oils or not use essential oils, to use supplements or not, right?

To buy organic food or not.

You have all of these choices as well.

But we need to drink water because we are essentially water, right?

Every system, every function of the human body relies on it.

And the human body is actually 70 to 75 percent water.

We need it to survive and we can survive three weeks without actually eating anything.

But we can survive more than three days without drinking water.

So did you actually know like 80 percent of our lungs is water.

The brain and the heart, that's 73 percent water.

And the liquid portion of our blood that carries all the blood cell nutrients and the hormones throughout the body is 90 percent water.

Like to be honest, I was never a really good student in biology.

But I was I seriously had no idea that I know we were like mainly made up of water, but I didn't know the details like of what that actually means and how important that is.

Right.

Yes.

And numbers don't lie.

I know.

So yeah, like water is really essentially life, but I soon then realized because I like to geek out on things when I'm interested in them and start to research them, that really not all water is created equally.

Right.

Like we don't really think about the quality and the content of the water that we're consuming.

We just take it.

We go to the vending machine here in like Japan.

They're in every like corner.

There's three at least.

And you just take out a bottle of plastic water, a plastic bottled water, or you just take out the last one.

Or even the water fountain, right?

Yeah, there's a lot of water fountain.

You fill it up with a water fountain.

Yes.

Exactly.

And you think, okay, I'm drinking water.

I drank enough water.

But what type of water did you actually drink?

And it's often really, unfortunately, sadly, significantly contaminated, right?

It's compromised by like things like industrial waste, agricultural waste, human waste.

It's really scary, right?

Like chlorine, fluoride, all of these things, especially when we open our tap and it flows and it goes through all of these tubes and all of these, like they're dirty.

Like we don't know, is there rust in there?

Is there not?

Like it's just we don't know where that water is flowing from and how long it takes to get through our tap in the kitchen, right?

Exactly.

And even if they come, I mean, even if the water that we're consuming comes from a plastic bottle, there's also particles of plastic that end up getting into the water, right?

Correct.

Correct.

I mean, now when we're living in, especially I think as living in Asia, right?

And I used to live in Southeast Asia like you for a long time.

And we often actually buy bottled water or we use bottled water to brush our teeth, right?

Because we don't necessarily want to drink the tap water.

We have our drinking water, but then we actually use that to brush our teeth, especially for the kids, because we know they'll swallow some.

We're actually scared to have them drink out of the tap, right?

But yeah, the plastic aspect of it is actually a whole set of problems in itself.

Because, just when you think about the manufacturing process of bottles, it's really unregulated, right?

And often, like what is in that water?

Yes, there's the labels, like how much do you trust them as well?

It's often really just tap water reprocessed and then filled up and then sold to you so much more expensively.

And yeah, it's really scary.

And there's been like tests and everything done with like so many, so many countless brands, a lot of them which are completely familiar to us.

You can see them in every shelf.

You know exactly the brands I mean.

And 93% of them contain microplastics in their water.

93% of them.

Pretty much all of them.

Pretty much all of them.

Exactly.

Wow.

And I don't want to go into the brands, but there are really the ones that even if you go to a restaurant and order yourself a good and expensive bottle of water, those brands too is when they come in plastic, right?

So microplastics for a lot of people, they sound like super tiny, they're like, oh yeah, whatever.

It's just a little bit, right?

But first of all, it's a whole topic of bioaccumulation that we've also mentioned like previously.

But some of these plastics are even, you can see them already with the naked eye, right?

But it's also more so for me, what's always concerning, it's the chemicals in the plastic bottles that leach into the water because they are exposed to time.

Because look, go to the supermarket and look at all the shelves.

They're filled with water bottles.

How long have they been standing there?

How long have they been in the warehouse before they are on these shelves, right?

And then the heat, especially you, like you live in the tropics, it's like hot, hot, hot, humid, 12 months in a year.

The trucks that come with the water that park there for hours without end in the heat, 30 degrees, sun, and those plastic water bottles, what happens to the water?

All those chemicals leach into it.

That's why also when I tell my clients or my community to spend their drinking water, like essential oil infused water, never, ever, ever put it in plastic because it can just really have such a negative effect.

They always use glass, right, when possible.

But the problem is as well that this all, having these microbes, these microplastics, it really really contributes to the obesity epidemic, to cancer, to heart disease, to diabetes, to all these reproductive problems.

And then let's even like, don't even mention the neural problems like ADD, ADHD.

I mean, Eva, you in your line of work, you do work with a lot of children and a lot of teenagers as well.

Do you also feel that just the rate of kids struggling with these new neural or like these non-communicable diseases, right?

Like it's just increasing and increasing.

Yes, yes, absolutely.

It's very frustrating for parents to wonder, you know, what is at the root of this type of behaviors or this, you know, this conditions that limit the way that they are able to develop in a healthy way or that they're able to have, you know, like a healthy development in terms of social development and academic development.

And it's sometimes you do need to get to the root cause, like through what I do, through the work that I do, and also alongside the path of doing detective work and seeing, you know, what are disruptors from the environment itself are we are we bringing into the situation to that that makes it to compound even more.

So it's super, it's super scary to dimension that to that effect, the water that we're drinking or that we're giving our children without thinking, right?

We're just giving them water and we're thinking, okay, as long as they're drinking water, they're staying hydrated.

End of the story.

But there's so much more to it.

Yeah, like I deal with a lot of kids as well.

A lot of moms come to me with like eczema and psoriasis and all of these things, right?

And it's really like, you know, take aside all of these essential oils, I'm going to tell them to try and shower with and everything.

But the actual water they're also showering with.

We need to examine that, you know?

And so it's really, really back to basics.

So all of these things is just the consequences for the people.

But then what about our planet, right?

We are like literally in the midst of a single use plastic epidemic.

79% of all the plastic that's ever produced, it can last for centuries and ends up scattered all around our beautiful planet and all the landfills and our oceans, right?

The oceans are full of plastic and we watch these documentaries, we talk about it, we do all of that.

It's just this plastic pollution is really devastating our global ecosystem.

And I can go on and on about this as well because it's really triggering and it's really sad thinking about the world, the planet we are leaving behind for our children and their children, right, like just the next generations as well.

And so many people always say, I want to do something.

I want to do something about all of this, about plastic and reducing and all of that.

Well, you can.

It can be literally as simple as changing the water that you drink, right, to not have to resort to these gallons, we always used to call them aqua gallons.

I don't know, like when I did it in the huge things, they come and bring to all the offices and all the houses and everything.

And people take it to reduce all of that, you know, just to be able to take it out of your tap.

You know, you have your beautiful water bottles, just fill them up when you go outside and just drink that type of water.

But then we also, we don't just want access to clean water.

Yes, I mean, water is already a privilege.

Not everyone has access to clean water to begin with.

But if you do have the access to it, it's also important that we drink healthy water, hydrating living water.

I was like, before, I was like, what do you mean water is alive in the livings, what are you talking about?

That was my follow-up question.

If you can expand on that, right?

When we were talking about water, I guess we have already established, like not all the water is made equal.

And when you are referring to then ensuring that we're actually hydrating with living water, can you expand a little bit on that?

Yeah, totally.

So basically, this machine and the way actually I did come about it, just a quick story is that I was so upset when I had this little red blinking light on my fridge.

You know, I have one of these fridges where you take the water out of the fridge.

And I was like, I got to change the filter apparently.

And it was really expensive to change the filter.

So I was like, so what does that expensive little thing actually do?

You know, what does it do for the water?

Is it going to make it so much better?

And I was quite upset.

I was like, what the, you know?

And then a friend of mine back in Kyoto mentioned one day something about some type of water she drinks.

And I was like, wait a second, let me call her up.

Let me just revive this conversation.

And she told me about this water ionizer.

I was like, oh, that's what you were talking about all along.

Like I had no idea.

You know, sometimes when you listen, you don't really listen.

But it's fun somehow, right?

And so then she started to explain it to me.

And then I dove into my, like I started geeking out about it.

And I was like, okay, so this water ionizer connects directly to our tap water, right?

And it turns, now back to your question, our tap water into a living ionized water.

So in short, this ionized water is rich in molecular hydrogen, which is a really, really strong antioxidant.

And it's got the ability, it actually hydrates our body better, like on a cellular level.

Because often, like we drink, we drink, we drink, the more you drink, the more you need to go to the bathroom, right?

Yes, oh my God.

I know, like, oh, in the middle of the night.

Like on the plane, during the night, you don't want to keep getting up, right?

But you're thirsty.

But like, I don't want to keep getting up to pee.

So this water actually gets absorbed into your body a lot better because it hydrates you on a cellular level, right?

It's, but it's also really good for antioxidization and detoxification.

So I'd love to explain that a little bit more.

First of all, hydration, okay?

I actually looked it up.

So half of the world population is dehydrated.

Oh my gosh.

So it's crazy.

Like meaning they don't meet, like the recommended daily water intake, right?

I think in the US they say it's like 75% of Americans, but I wanted to see it more in a global picture.

It says half of the world population, okay?

But we are made of like 75% water.

So chronically lacking this hydration necessary, it's like, well, then our bodies can't really function the way they should function.

They're not hydrated, right?

Let alone thrive.

So.

Yeah, and as a side note, I've always heard, I mean, I'm not a nutritionist as such, but I have always been hearing from nutritionist friends and people that are in that space, right?

That sometimes they say, oh, when you have cravings, or when you're feeling hungry, sometimes drinking a glass of water does the trick, because your body is not really asking for food, but it's asking for water, but it comes through as hunger.

So sometimes we wonder, it's like, okay, why am I perhaps, I don't know, wanting to eat so much or putting on so much weight when we're reaching for the wrong thing, right?

In this case, we're not reaching for the water.

Yeah, and exactly, and then ask like, hello moms that are over 40 already, like picture like a grape, and then picture a raisin lying next to it, right?

The hydration is the difference between that grape and that raisin.

How do you want your skin to look?

How do you want to feel?

How do you want your cells to be?

Do you want them to be all shrivel?

No, you don't.

You don't.

This ionized water has the unique ability to like permeate our cellular walls, even go through the blood-brain barrier and really hydrating us on every cellular level.

But then what's really great as well is this antioxidation.

So, you know, we are always like, oh, eat all your blueberries, you know.

Yeah, the free radicals, right?

Right, exactly, right?

Right, so, oxidation is kind of like the apple that's turning brown after you've cut it and left it on like your counter, right?

After making the lunchbox and you forget to put it away, like me.

So, yeah, it really occurs naturally all the time.

And it's really amplified nowadays too because we live like high-stress lifestyles.

We have toxic environments.

We're overworked and feel underappreciated.

We're highly stressed, you know, all of these things come and that's oxidative stress.

And that leads to free radical damage, which is really at the center of chronic illnesses and diseases.

That's why they say stress makes you sick, right?

Like all of these things together make you sick and brings on all the diseases.

But like think of these ionized antioxidants then in terms of the water we drink, which we need to drink anyways, it's like a police force entering your body, right?

Because they can neutralize the free radicals and the damage that they cause and it decreases oxidation, it decreases inflammation and it slows the aging process.

Isn't that nice to hear as an ad and openness?

Especially because we as moms and working on our passion projects or really wanting to go to the next level, it's so important to ask ourselves, how do I want to get there?

Do I want to get there but then burned out completely?

It's like I cannot even type of feeling.

Or do you want to get there with this like, yeah, I enjoyed myself and I also feel rejuvenated in every sense of the word.

While achieving my goals.

And I think that's what we're after.

Or at least that would be my aim.

I want to get there feeling young and revitalized and refreshed and fulfilled and satisfied and happy and all these things.

And not get there for the sake of getting there, but in the middle of it all, I crashed and burned.

Exactly, that's not the purpose of what we're doing.

All of what we're doing, and then for me as well, I'm always this big advocate of like, oh, ditch the toxins in your home and everything.

But we can control everything because it's already in our air, in the soil, in the food that we eat.

There is so much contamination already.

We breathe it in when we're outside because our air is kind of polluted, right?

But what we can control is in our home.

So we don't need to bathe in chemicals.

We don't, right?

And we don't need to drink toxins.

Like we just don't.

So let's stop doing that.

And all of this poison is really internalized and it wreaks havoc on our bodies, like you said, in our minds and our spirits, right?

And the way we feel.

So yes, all of this water, like the ionized water, is rich again in molecular hydrogen because that's how it gets in there.

And I'll talk about that in a second, but it flushes out even out of our body.

It cleans and detoxifies our body of those pollutants and the chemicals and the toxins that we cannot control and that are coming into our body through other ways.

This is so, I mean, this is really an eye opener for me because I, you know, with all this numbers and data that you have shared right now, it just feels like it's such a fundamental building block of everything else.

And it's just like incredible to see like our body processes and also how the world that we're living in is not contributing to what this natural biological processes need and are all about.

And to make matters worse, is that when we think we're doing something beneficial, we're actually sort of not knowingly contributing to making it worse, I think, right?

Like we're not, it's not that we're just, we're not really getting to, not even the basics right, right?

It feels like we have been, unfortunately, we haven't been fully educated.

And as you say, there's so many brands out there that they do have a lucrative business model selling water, but not the water that we actually need.

So I love everything about this, you know, ionized, living ionized water.

And I know that there's different names being thrown out there.

So this is a question that I had.

I know there's so many names that we might get confused about as well, right?

So I just wanted to take the opportunity to just set a little bit, the record straight on.

When we talk about ionized water, I have also heard the term Kangen water or alkaline water.

But when you go online, there's so many, you know, there's so many different sources saying different things.

So can you help me unravel this a little bit?

Is it all the same?

Is it different things that are done to the water when you're using these different terms?

Or how does this come together?

Yeah, so there are different terms for sure.

And you'll hear a lot sort of in this realm about ERW, which is electrolyzed reduced water, right?

But that's essentially what this is, because when we produce the water through the machine, not we, but the machine, it actually goes through the process of electrolysis and it splits the molecules apart and makes this special type of water, right?

Through a very natural way, but through electricity and then infuses that with the molecular hydrogen, that then naturally occurs.

So all of that is called Kangen water and that's just from the company.

Because the company is Japanese and Kangen in Japanese means return to origin.

Isn't that beautiful?

So the process of electrolysis makes the water to be alkaline because it produces a specific pH.

There is different pHs that have the ability to have different again, functions within our body and our lifestyle and our diet and cleaning, like so many different functions.

But to make it a higher pH, which is good and it's less acidic, so it's better for our body, is this alkaline water.

And we talk a lot about making our bodies alkaline.

So they're like, well, there's a big trend going on since many years already to buy alkaline water, right?

But basically, so the difference is that water that you buy, first of all, is in a plastic bottle.

We've spoken about that.

But second of all, to alter that pH, to change it, they are using chemicals, so often you actually have the ingredient list on the side of that alkaline water bottle.

And you're like, what is all that stuff doing in my water?

I just want water.

Right, because you would expect that the only and main ingredient on the label would be H2O water.

Right, exactly, but then there's all this stuff because they want to change it synthetically through chemicals.

But if you use it from that machine, it's the natural alkaline water that has the right pH.

Now the cool thing is that actually the water at that machine can produce so many different pHs of water.

So it's not just, we've spoken about the drinking water, but it can actually produce so much more from like actually seven types of water from 11.5, which is highly alkaline.

So this is the 11.5 pH, which means potential hydrogen scale, right?

And that 11.5, that's highly, highly alkaline to 2.5, which is extremely, extremely acidic.

So the highly alkaline 11.5 water, it even emulsifies oil.

You know when you mix like, let's say olive oil and some water, what happens?

The oil separates, right?

But that one, yeah.

The oil stays at the top.

The 11.5 pH, if you mix it, it emulsifies, it's mixed together.

And that just shows you what an amazing cleaning agent as well, like it is.

You can like, spray it in your kitchen and your stove top and everything, get rid of grease, because it cuts through the grease because of that pH content.

And one of my other favorites, talking about sort of the drinks and the food in our home, we love to clean our veggies and fruits with this 11.5, the higher alkaline water, because again, it gets rid of all the pesticides and herbicides and everything.

And we did, remember we did that test with the cherry tomatoes?

And then so I cleaned it with the normal tap water and the water remained white.

And then from the same tub of the cherry tomatoes, we then washed it with the 11.5 Kangen water and the water turned brown, brownish, like instant.

So you can see what it takes out.

It's just so cool.

And then it just has so many functions.

And I have made a little booklet even to explain about the 60 plus uses that we can do with the machine.

Like even to cut through a mold or stains.

Like, oh my God, my daughter always has those like stains all over her clothes, right?

So I just kind of dip it into or like let it soak a little bit in this highly acidic water, the 2.5 and boom, gone.

It's just incredible.

It's so good.

Oh my God.

I remember how you shared so much on this.

And even there was this little spray bottle that you had, which was like those face sprays that you put on to stay hydrated.

I used to use the commercial ones a lot when I was traveling back in my corporate days, right?

But it really brought me back and it really made me think when I saw yours that it had this amazing effect on my face and my skin.

And you do feel it immediately hydrating you because as we were discussing, where I live in Singapore, it's quite humid, but traveling to other countries, Japan, sometimes the weather is a little bit more dry.

And so you resent it.

Like your skin feels also drier by the same token, but the spray that you had, I was always like having it in my purse, even though it was yours.

I'm like, hey, I use it.

And I filled up a bottle, I was always borrowing it.

That's the 6.0, 6.0 P8.

And that's called Beauty Water.

And you could use just that water as your toner because it has an astringent effect.

You can use it as your conditioner or just spray some in your hair after your shower.

But yeah, I spray it on my face.

Even it works as a makeup setter.

Like it's so amazing.

And because 6.0 is the same pH as rain water, actually.

So there's no better water even to use for your plants.

Now I have no green thumb.

And I have been able to keep my plants in the kitchen on the windowsill alive because they love the water.

They love that water that I feed those plants.

So this beauty water, it's also good for plants as well.

The 6.0.

Exactly, a natural form, right?

So yeah, by just one click of a button, it's like a touch screen on the machine, right?

And then you just click a button.

I want 6.0, I want 7.0, which is really neutral, like great for baby formula and all of that.

Or like the 2.5, the 11.5, the 9.5, which is the drinking water.

It's just so easy, like it's super duper easy.

And yeah, I love it.

I love it.

I just want to circle back to this, and I really want to bring it front and center, because first of all, thanks so much for really sharing all this incredible information about something that is so vital, as you say.

We can go without food for quite a bit, but without water, it's almost like, it's part of this biological need to stay alive.

So when we talk about water, it's definitely this fundamental basic principle of life itself.

It's what sustains us.

And I wanna take it a bit further because we are talking in the context of being mompreneurs, of having our children, raising our families, wanting to thrive, pursuing the multiple passion projects if you're a multi-passionate person.

And just wanting to thrive in life and wanting your life to be at that level where you're just like, how come I see all this people out there making it?

Quote, unquote.

And sometimes we forget to mention how important those little details that made the difference are.

When you are looking into competitive athletes, when you're looking into sports teams that are really on the main major leagues and they have to come out and compete with each other and win the whatever it is, right?

Like the leagues or the different awards, everyone is making sure that they have the basics right and looking also for ways to enhance the basics.

So it's not only that, oh, I need to eat healthy.

It's like, how do I pair my meals, my foods, this with that, so that it allows me to have the best energy fuel for what I need to do and so forth.

And they really go into this details.

So as women, when we are wanting to really raise our children to make sure that they are happy and thriving, and we want to be the best version for them, when we also want to be wearing other hats that we need as spouses, as daughters, as friends, as business owners, or whatever that is, that amplifying your bandwidth, and we have gone into other episodes on this, like how do you really expand yourself for the true potential that we're capable about and that we're capable for.

And when we forget or overlook this tiny little things, as you have shared today, the hydration, what it does to our body, how can we maximize the nutrients.

I mean, I see it, like we go to the store and we almost have a heart attack looking at the prices for the high quality organic produce and all of that.

But we're eating it and it's been flushed because the water that we're drinking is not conducive to maximizing the money that we're spending.

And the effort and energy that goes into growing these foods so that it is of benefit to us.

So we are undoing with one hand what we're trying to create and build with the other.

So I guess this is what I want to bring home for our mamas today to really take a deep look into, okay, if I am looking into sleep, nutrition, hydration, how can I look for a way that totally enhances that for me in an easy way?

Because that's the other thing.

It's not that you are and I've seen it.

So I can vouch.

I can vouch.

You open a faucet like I believe it's connected to your faucet and I would just pour the water, this leaving ionized water into the water bottle.

And off we went.

It was that simple.

Like I didn't need to feel that you had this contraption at home where it's like, okay, I better not touch it.

Otherwise, I'll break it down type of feeling.

It was just very intuitive, very like you tap here and you open here and the water comes out and then that's the end of it.

And if there are ways and machines like the one that you have and companies that are behind this type of water, that really makes the difference.

It's like the tiny difference that can make a big difference down the line.

We have already talked about the behavioral aspects for your children, your own physiological and psychological factors as we're navigating through stress, right?

Stress is a big one for us.

Overwhelm, anxiety, frustration.

When we're looking into all of these things, and there's a solution for it that is so easy.

It's doing the same thing that you've been doing.

It's just that what you're getting is something a million times better.

Then this is the opportunity to really take a closer look and say, okay, maybe it is time to go back to basics.

But going back to basics doesn't mean going backwards.

Going back to basics means, okay, I am enhancing, I am improving, I am making a positive beneficial change that is going to change the trajectory for me, my family, my health, my business, everything that is involved.

When you're hydrated, you don't need to eat as much.

When you're hydrated, you don't feel tired.

When you're hydrated, you feel like you can take on the day better.

When you can take on the day better, you're able to feel more inspired, to be more productive, to feel that you actually accomplish more.

Then you're already feeling at that level that you're thriving.

Hey, my week wasn't that bad.

It was actually quite good.

It was pretty productive.

I got all of these things done.

I even had fun with my kids.

I got the energy.

I got all these things.

I just love this topic for that, for what it brings to the table, which is a lot.

And then also, I love that you say enhance.

We're looking at so many ways to enhance.

We spend a lot of money on supplements, on these things, on performance enhancers.

When I prepped my husband to run the marathon as well, or even our Ningxia red that we drink.

We also spoke about that or all of these things.

But then when it doesn't have the ability to be absorbed in your body, honestly, you just have really expensive pee.

Just come straight up like it doesn't really do.

So a lot of people are like, oh, you know, blah, blah, investment and everything.

You're going to spend that money anyways over those 25 plus years, right?

That you have sort of that machine.

Be it in treatments, be it in medicines, medication.

Even water filters, the basic water filters at home.

Even water filters.

Exactly.

But over the years.

But then you just, you know, make an investment in that.

And it's like reducing the plastic waste and so much more.

It's just like an all around solution just to better health, honestly.

Exactly.

And I can't wait to get my hands on that booklet that you mentioned.

So definitely, and it's something that we're willing to share with our listeners today.

Yeah, it's super simple.

It's oilyessentialsfamily.com forward slash water.

But yeah, we'll put it in the show notes for sure.

Fantastic.

Yeah.

So thank you.
