Yes and this new episode rides on the back of last week's episode that had everything to do with what is it when we're talking about multiple revenue streams and is really worthwhile that your day job is your main job right so we were having a really incredible conversation about that. And we linked it with some celebrities because it's quite interesting how this formula is playing out in the real world. But today, we really want to go a little bit more into the direction of how we can navigate our nervous system for expanding the capacity for more financial gains without burning out.

I am so excited to talk about this topic because often we only think and plan to a certain extent but once those multiple streams of income actually started happening and coming in, we often freeze don't we? So I'm really excited to explore today what how we can you know, get rid of those blocks. What we need to do what that even has to do with our nervous system and of course some tips and tools of what we can do about it.

Absolutely because it's so true. Even if you're not really ready yet to delve into multiple streams of income because again, you are feeling frozen about how to go about it or what's the next step. Maybe what you're thinking about doing is: is it time for me to raise my prices? What I'm offering my clients has become really really incredibly powerful and it's time for me to expand on that and with the sense of having to charge more. Also we can become a little bit nervous, unregulated and fearful whether our new customers accept the new prices, will they continue buying from us… so this is really interesting because there is definitely a link between financial freedom_ between being financially at a level where you feel that you can have those freedoms and that ability to enjoy your life in the way that you want it and well-being. We sometimes consider that health is one thing and money is another thing but we fail to see that there is a relationship between the two. And also our own relationship with money can be very complex and often subconscious. So it is important to regulate our response to stress and that financial stress comes up especially just as we were saying when you're thinking about okay I want to do other passion projects and or thinking well really is my day job my main job, and what does that mean? And so we start to go into this fight or flight response that affects our physical and mental health.

Yeah, I think one thing as well especially for us mompreneurs and like we explained last week, that for a lot of us our passion turns into a business, right we try with the limited time that we have in our hands do to be mothers of little ones, is also often like this desire to turn that what we're already doing anyways or our passion into our business, essentially monetizing it that I think that's where the first stressor comes in. Right. It's like, but I would be doing it anyways. Is it right for me to charge? Or is it right for me to actually offer something in exchange for money or services? In exchange for money? I think that's where the first mindset shift comes in. And also second of all, because we are starting off often with having clients or people we surround ourselves with that we know, people from our network our own friends or family. It's like oh, how do we feel about charging them? Or how do we feel where do we draw the line of where's the business? Where's a favor? Where's, you know, it's like becoming clear with yourself and I think raising first of all your confidence and your whole money mindset around like no, this is now a business. This is what I do. Otherwise, that that passion job cannot be my main job right? I have to use that retreat back to having other things that I do to bring in money. Because I'm not monetizing it. So we I think in ourselves need to get very clear and very real on that first.

I also feel there's a third component. So yes, you have the sense of well, I was going to do it anyway. Why would I? You know, it feels really strange to be charging for it. And also to be charging people that are friends of mine. So we also share in a different capacity. And beyond that, I would say that is also this sense that we are coming from a place where in the past how your family brought you up about talking about money and discussing it openly as you say that money mindset really, really kicks in to the point that you feel like it's not it's not proper, right. It's not appropriate to be having those conversations like we don't have a lot of role models that did and or maybe there was this other aspect that in the family it was looked down upon to people that were always boasting about their wealth or how much money they earned. Right?

So it was a big taboo in my family to talk about money, we would never ever ask anyone what they would earn. Like it's just a huge thing. And when we were talking about like before Instagram and creating content and all of that and looking at a lot of other people within our networks, who are always like oh, I made this this month, I made like a six-figure a year. It's like ‘ah, we're not like that.’ Right? It's very difficult for us to throw around with these numbers.

Yes. And also we have a feel- don't you find that when you are operating in your zone of genius meaning when you are really engaging in an activity that you have the talent for, you have the passion for, you have the gift for, you have trained for studied for and so it like all these pieces come together and you're just like you're in flow and it's so easy and effortless that you don't think nothing of doing it whether someone pays you or not because it seems so easy to you. And we don't realize that for other people that's not the case so that I feel it's the biggest indicator that we need to sort of tweak this money mindset around and to really bring ourselves up to saying yes, because it's easier, because I enjoy it, and because I have fun doing it. I should be charging what it's worth and not you know, feel that guilt.

Exactly. And you're right. We invest a lot of money and our education and our continuous training to be up to date with our skills or our certifications and what we do. And also, for me, a huge thing is time. I have very little of that. And the time I have and I invest in maybe spending with someone to give a consultation or you know to just to provide education, it's like that is actually money on the table right there because my time is valuable.

Yeah, absolutely. We need to start quantifying the time that we are spending on our projects, and whether that return of investment is there. And if it isn't then we need to make different decisions. But it all comes down to that wanting and that desire and that intention, especially since we're starting the year to say you know what, even though it might seem a little bit uncomfortable, that is a good indicator that this is an area to really look more into and iron out all the kinks that are related to that. Because what happens is that when we are going into this fight or flight response, like if your heart rate goes up, just the mere thought of setting a new price, a new higher price, or just at the mere thought of thinking like I guess this multiple streams of income they sound amazing or I want to go into now investing or I really want to invest in another project, collaborate with someone you know, when you have those first conversations with the other person, let's say you meet someone that you really aligned with and you're like, ‘Oh my God, yes, we should work together.’ But then the money topic needs to come up and you say, ‘oops, you know, we get along so well. We'll figure it out as we go along’ and you don't really want to address those conversations head on, then most likely, that's a subconscious program that is running in the background that is not allowing you to fully feel comfortable in the realm of money, in the real world talking finance and you know men have had the baton on this arena for a long time. Men think nothing of these uncomfortable conversations about their earnings even if it’s like the percentage range or you know, they don't, they're not going to say like specifically like this is what I earn. But they're like, ‘oh, yeah, I'm more around in this ballpark figure.’ And, they are more straightforward in discussing these things with other men and other people like they're very like, head on into the topic. I know. It's beating around the bush and we just want to get along we just want to be liked. And so it is interesting that we are_ I believe and I don't know if you feel that way_ that we are really the generation that is spearheading a whole identity we're we are women that we are leading more and more those conversations without feeling icky, without feeling that we are bragging or that we're being the annoying person in the room. We are bringing an element of feeling comfortable in that space so that we can become more assertive, but also our children have a role model of women having this discussion as well.

Yeah. So how do you think we can become more confident and comfortable in these topics and to, you know, to talk about it with others, but also within ourselves in terms of collaborations or something? What's something that we can do?

Yes, so there's quite a few. So the same techniques that you can use to help your nervous system get around the idea of stepping into a new income level, or expanding the capacity to receive more financial gain, be it from different streams of income via from investing in something that you're not familiar with, but that you think it's a great idea, or let's say somebody came along and they want you to collaborate and spearhead certain things and you now have to be having those conversations. So if you find yourself in that realm the best thing to do is first of all to become aware of your response like that tightening in the chest, that feeling of I want to put it for later, I will rather organize my sock drawer than address this, you're gonna find yourself putting it off and off and off. That's a good way to start saying okay, then this is something that I need. to unpack. So one of the things that is great to regulate the nervous system, like a quick hack and something that you can do at any moment in time, it's to breathe. And we forget that- we think that it's the most basic thing but honestly breathing is the best thing you can do. But here’s the key: is that your exhale needs to be longer than your inhale. This is the way that you get to relax yourself more. And when you get to relax yourself more you start to see and send a message to your mind, especially your subconscious, that there's nothing to be afraid, you're not you're not going to be eaten by a tiger. You know, you're still loved, you're still approved off, but it's like allowing your mind to lose the grip that it has on this fear. Whatever that is and just allowing you to see better opportunities or solutions or creative ways that you can address the issue. So I'm going to bring you into this because I have you know, like one step deeper into this but as we're talking about breathing, inhaling essential oils is so great for this because you are immediately impacting the limbic brain, which is that a seat of our emotions and you are the expert on this but and I know that there's some fantastic oils that also go in line with everything that's with regards to money, abundance, and all of that. So if you want to share that would be great because these are like great hacks. Sometimes we don't have the time to do more than that and that is fine. But at least it gets you out of that first gear where you feel stuck and you can go into a space where you feel more expansive and more calm about the whole topic.

Yes. Like you rightly said, that limbic system right is the collective name actually for the functionally and anatomically interconnected structures of the brain. It is the seeds of our emotions, our motivation, the regulation of our memories, our hormones and everything. So by the act of inhalation, it's actually the fastest way that it can get to that particular part of the brain, the sense, the aromas. And these can alter your mood, your mind, your motivation, so fast, so fast, and people are like, Okay, I have no idea what she's talking about. Now, what is this limbic system? So just think of a time where maybe you're walking through the supermarket, you turn to an aisle, and you smell this specific spice, and you're like, “Ah, this reminds me of being in my grandma's home and she's in the kitchen whipping up our favorite dish.” Boom, this in the nanosecond, this memory pops up right? It's like, there we go. You have just activated the limbic system of your brain, which was triggered by a certain aroma. You don't even know what it was. You don't need to, you have no idea, you didn't even have to have to think about what it was that you just smelled, but it triggered a memory right? And that is like the perfect example of it. So we can use these little hacks right in our daily lives. I'm actually holding right now my oil that I've carried into the New Year with me, which I do, sort of at the beginning of each new year, which is an oil called Abundance. It's already a blend that also has a certain frequency of it. And so when you inhale it, it actually gives you the capacity to attract more wealth to open your mind. For abundance and abundance is not necessarily only money, right? Abundance can be in any area. of your life. And that's why I love it because you can channel it in any which way that you want. So that's something for example, I am inhaling at the moment. Very, very regularly, right like daily. It's part of my routine. And it's definitely been very helpful. There's many other things you can do with abundance.

Such an incredible oil. And when you talk about this whole aspect of the power that essential oils have on our limbic brain and make sure that they are really, you know, the right certified grade, because if you go with a different type of grade, you won't probably get the same effect right? So important to check the origin and the grade of the essential oil.

It needs to be a therapeutic grade. That's very, very important. So thanks for bringing that up. It doesn't work with anything you get off the shelf, and these blends are exist for a reason they have been made with, you know, these certain aspects in mind. So it's extremely, extremely powerful and I can go into frequencies as well I know that I'm gonna digress by doing that, but it's just so many things that come together, but it's definitely one of these hacks and one of these tools that's just so easy to do. Either in a situation or as part of your routine or something just to open up that part of your mind.

Yes, and when you're talking about frequencies, I find that that certain people, not necessarily our people, but certain people might have this idea that ‘oh, this is all you know, very woowoo you know, very just like airy-fairy type of conversation’, but when we're talking about frequencies what people need to understand is that it's a real thing. And the reason why that is a real thing is because everything in the universe is energy. We are energy but also our thoughts are energy and our emotions are energy and depending on what type of thought and what type of emotion we're feeling, that has a very particular type of frequency. So what does that mean? In my line of work when I work with my clients, and they come to me, and usually their nervous systems are very dysregulated so they are in the realm of probably feeling anger, guilt, sometimes shame. Sometimes there's this sense of helplessness, hopelessness, like they cannot seem to find a solution to the issue at hand. These are all frequencies that they are emitting via the way that they are feeling. So those emotions when they are in the lower scale, there's a scale that measures the frequency of emotions by Dr. Hawkins right. This scale says that these frequencies that are in the bottom become a little bit more dense, they become very sticky. That's why we feel like very weighed down and whenever somebody does subconscious work, or even you inhale an oil that helps you bring yourself back up to this level of feeling like calmer you are going up the ranks in the in the hierarchy of frequencies. And that's why sometimes we use the expression ‘oh my God, it's like a weight was lifted off of me.’ But it's not just an expression. It's the fact that we are tapping into emotions, that because they are lighter and more positive now they don't feel as dense.

Exactly. Look, I have an example for you. So I mean, this can be like you said it can be measured. It's a frequency is measured by mega hertz, right? Yeah. So our body the human body, just by being alive and just normally functioning we have a frequency of about 62 to 68 megahertz, right. Then you have all of these different emotions that have different levels of frequency, and I think that's exactly what we're talking about now, right? You're talking about anger. That's actually a lower frequency, right? Like courage, acceptance, love, joy. It keeps getting higher and higher and higher. peace and enlightenment, of course being like the highest highest, but also when you're feeling really sick, or when you're feeling guilt and shame. It starts going lower and lower. And that's exactly what you mean, right? Like, oh, I looked at something has changed in me. And even by hanging out with people haven't you felt like if you go into a room of people, or you're meeting up with like certain people, you either walk out of there feeling energized, motivated, joyful, or you're like, we feel a bit heavy, and you know, it's because we are able to completely affect each other by the frequencies that we're in or that we are projecting upon other people. Right? So I love the work that you do as well to get people to tap into these emotions subconsciously. Just to kind of dig them out right there. You just need to kind of like, bring them to the surface a bit more.

Yes, so pretty much what that requires us to really go into the subconscious mind to see what is the belief that is creating the thought that is creating the feeling. So whenever somebody is consistently so right now we're talking about the aspect of how not how to not feel burnt out, confused, mixed up, or feeling that this is not going to be available to you in having financial freedom, or expanding your financial wealth, right, like how can you hold and expand that? How can you expand your capacity to hold more of this energy that is money because money is also an energy? And so when we are not matching the energy of money, that's why we go into burnout. And that's why we make decisions and financial decisions that that are not so effective. Because they're based on fear and lack and so our emotions are weighing us down where we cannot see clearly, when we cannot, you know, when solutions that don't seem to be available to us because we don't have that clarity. And it all comes down to a belief system that we adopted when we were children. And that's where we started the conversation saying, you know, those early memories of you and your family discussing money talking about money or how people that had money were viewed is so important, because your subconscious mind cannot hold two conflicting beliefs at the same time. So it cannot be that in your family, people that were wealthy, were miserable. And you want to be wealthy because your mind says but we don't want it because we're going to be miserable and we want to be happy. So then what do I do? So we're in this conflict of sorts, and I help people to really untangle that so that they are not weighing themselves down with beliefs that they adopted without even realizing that that was the case.

Exactly I love that you can completely rewire someone's belief, a superpower to have.

And also, another thing that I have found really interesting for myself, which I'm sharing here is we all have love languages. And we have spoken about this in previous episodes as well. Also when we were discussing, helping our children expand, remember this is such an incredible keyword. It's like expanding our capacity for holding more financial abundance and gaining our lives but also expanding the awareness of our children in a previous episode we talked about so that they could see what needed to be done right, because children can be very tunnel vision. And sometimes we need their help at home to realize like, hey, this shoes don't go there, or you know, help me out here so we'll post the show notes to that. But we also discussed the concept of love languages like speaking their love language. And our main love language is also going to dictate how we like to relate to money. So in my case, I'm sharing something about me is that my love language my main love language is quality time. I really love to spend quality time with people, to me, it's like it's very important that it's a moment of true connection to making memories and all of that. So because I like quality time, I noticed in the past and this is something that I worked on already and but it was quite interesting because I noticed that whenever money came in, I wanted to keep it and it was so hard to let go of it. So, so hard even if I had to spend it on something that was like an essential. I would really delay it because I wanted the money to stay with me longer because I wanted to have more quality time with it. So this this is something that you can also look into because if you think about money being an energy and you want money to come into your life and stay you want money to come in and you want to welcome it, you want to feel positive about it. You want to say to money, hey welcome you know we have all this amazing exciting projects lined up for you. We're going to go and spend it on a coffee with a friend. We are going to go and save it for a trip that we want to do with the family. This is going to go towards buying I don't know a laptop, where I'm going to be able to work faster and to help more people. So money likes that concept, that energy, but if money comes into your life, and all you do is like ‘oh my God, this is not even enough.’ Like, you know, ‘Go and pay this bill. Go and do this. Go and do that’. Imagine you're on a date with someone and you tell them ‘look, I'm not sure but I don't think that you're enough.’ So we have to treat money and I know this is a really silly example but it's just to drive home the idea that if we want to play in the realm of expanding our capacity, we need to go into an area where it's not so evident with the naked eye, but it's about frequencies. And you can see that this is not an idea of only Iva, and RTT and hypnotherapy. It's also found in what you do as an aromatherapist, right? Like you understand that there is something that frequencies and emotions come together. And if we don't calibrate ourselves to be a match for that woman, that she's ready to step up her game, that is ready to say confidently: ‘This is what I charge’ and not be afraid of what the what the other person is going to say or do, when you become the woman that you can feel that you can confidently walk into a collaboration, into a project, into a venture, and ask those questions that seem a little bit what you were not used to from your upbringing, but you're bringing them on with that confidence and with that authenticity, to just set the expectations clearly for everyone, right? Like what are the rules of the game? And you do that more and more, you're gonna find it easier for you to up-level more and more. But it comes with practice, right like we have to start somewhere.

Yeah, you need to set yourself up you'd need to get yourself ready. It's like exercising for like, sports that you're doing right? You're training for some sort of competition or something not really a competition but you need to set yourself up your mind you know, your way of attracting wealth, but also like the frequency that you are operating on in general so you can attract the wealth at that level. And you know, use it at that level, spend it and receive it at a certain level, which again magnetizes it to for more money to come in, right. So it's so important. And yes, we can do that with the belief systems and rewiring and you know, like fixing things that have maybe been wired wrongly in the past, right? But also using hacks like these essential oils to use those tools to raise our frequency. And it's just amazing that the tools are all so easily available to us. Actually, we need to know how to use them. We need to be open to use them. And but we can make such a difference just with these little tweaks in our daily lives, the way we think and talk and share about these things.

Yes, and it's all in line with looking after a well-being. If we know that we have a, you know, abundance seems a little bit too like general of a word, but if we know that our cost of living, our expenses, everything is covered for and we have more than enough to go into also the aspect of having fun and enjoyment. Well, that is well-being as well. That is mental and emotional well being because there is nothing I believe more sad than having all this money in the bank but not the health to enjoy it. So we can raise our frequencies and we can also set up really powerful intentions for the year ahead, to be the woman or to be the women or to be part of the of the collective of women that we are able to hold more and more money and still enjoy it because it all comes full circle.
